Cryptocurrency has seen an unexpected rally as a sea of green lights up the price boards at exchanges around the world.
Bitcoin has improved from $3,911.29 to more than $4,000 for the first time since a blip on February 23 saw the price jump to $4,149.09.
That’s the only time since Christmas that Bitcoin has traded at more than $4,000.
The price rise has boosted the market capitalization to just over $70 billion.
All the other top 20 cryptocurrencies also showed vastly improved results over the day.
Ethereum has seen a 4% in 24 hours to trade at $141 – $6 up on the day.
Ripple gained 1.3% in 24 hours to trade at $0.318.

Bitcoin Cash resurrected
Bitcoin Cash returned the best numbers – up 10% at one point in the day to $154.10 and a market cap of $2.71 billion after starting the day at $139.12.

Monero boost
Another main shower on the day’s trading was Monero.
Starting the day at $51.94, the price dropped to $50.93 before rallying to $55.22 before falling back to $54.16.
